How long did your fever last?

I tested positive on Saturday but I had symptoms since last Wednesday. My fever started on Saturday and lasted until Monday then went away for a few days and has come back now! Only mildly 37.8 but I feel warm. I haven't been bed bound but have felt pretty rough and I am so exhausted and have had enough of feeling run down 😔 I have a 14 month old and I'm feeling bad for her! I miss playing with her how I used to and I'm so scared. I have health anxiety so this is awful for me. How long did your fever last? I'm starting to think it's going to be here forever!

I also had it after one jab, it started on a Wednesday too, the fever lasted until Friday I'd say, but the feeling of having a boulder tied to my head went on for a couple of days after that. I also had a chesty cough for a couple of days and my voice was gone on the Thursday. I have an 18 month old so I sympathise with you, she wanted to play with me and I couldn't do anything :( I had lots of room temperature orange juice, tea with honey, lemon, cloves and cinnamon as well as meds. I hope you have a speedy recovery Flowers

@crochetandcoffeebreaks it's hard isn't it! How long was it until you felt 100% again? I can't remember the last time I felt ill for this long 😫 I miss playing with my daughter properly!

I didn’t have a fever, but had chills that seemed to come and go for almost 2 weeks. I was pregnant at the time, so thought it was pregnancy symptoms until I found out I had covid. You should start feeling more normal after the first week. Out of interest is your 14 month old fine? No symptoms?
Hope you get well soon Flowers

@pixietinsle5 I would say maybe 9/10 days, I had to give work a miss (I WFH) for a couple of days because I just couldn't deal with looking at a screen for 8 hours straight. Is your daughter okay? I can imagine you miss playing with her a lotSad
