We tested today, so not expecting them until tomorrow, but we were out socialising yesterday, so a bit worried have passed something to friends.

DC1 started coughing at bedtime, clear streaming nose all night and had a temperature, seems poorly , DC 2 woke with green snot, occasional cough, seems normal. I am hoping it's just a cold.

I was tempted not to test as don't want to stay in, selfish I know .. but can't go out with a cough these days, so need a test to say hey they've been tested if it is negative. I really hope it is.

Yep!
Tested today as well.
It is impossible to swab the tonsils of a small child without touching the tongue! So hope I've done it properly and we don't have to do it again!
Hope you get your results soon.

The worst part is waiting for the results isn't it op. A few weeks ago Dd had a very nasty cough and was convinced she had covid - it was negative. We tested her at 9am and results by 8pm same day - very impressed.

Just try and relax. Maybe watch a couple films and hope the tests are negative.

Hope they both feel better soon.

@MrsSchrute they said only the nose for the DC.

@kcha30 definitely the waiting, although can't go anywhere as one of the DC is too unwell, but if it is positive it will be a absolute chore to stay home for 10 days and with DH's work will be a disaster. Is the change on the 16th Aug that he wouldn't have to stay home if double jabbed and no symptoms?
