PCR test result text when I didn’t take a test..

Bit of a weird one… anyone ever a text alert for a covid test result for a PCR on a day they didn’t take one?

I did have a PCR the day before it states (2nd August test, this text says 3rd) and received the results as normal. Is this just a system glitch and has anyone else had this?

I got one an hour or two ago too. My original result came through this morning.

Me too. Got a result tonight of test taken on Saturday but with wrong date.

Dd took test on 30th that was negative.
She had a second text earlier for a test on 31st as well.
Glad to hear others getting the same as she was confused by it.

I know someone who booked a test, but didn't actually take it as they were running late, and got a positive text next day. Bonkers.

I've just had the exact same thing too for my negative result but not for my daughters positive result!
Both done on 31st, just got a repeat text with mine but saying 1st!

I've got the opposite. Test 2 weeks ago and still haven't received the results. Perhaps you've all received mine?

Same here! Text at 10.44 about a test on 30 July that I didn’t take (I did take one on the 29th, and got results by email, but not by text, on the morning of the 30th). Weird!

Woke up to a text that came through at 11.30, but no email and no text or email with the code to put in to the app.

Yes got one here too. Test taken on the 3rd and result on the 4th really early hours. Another text late on the 4th giving results of test taken on the 4th

Just make sure your isolation period isn’t extended as a result of the glitch.

Thank goodness for this thread! Yes I had mine and the children's sent through again. Very confusing as one of the children had been done again yesterday and I thought it had come back super quick!

Same here. Got a text at 11:30 last night saying my test on 1 August was negative. Except I didn’t take a test on 1 August. I did take one on 31 July and had the result of that on 1 August.

The result from the test I took on Tuesday has now been texted to me 3 times! Glad it isn’t just me.

I've looked at my test results on the nhs app. The actual test results are there, the glitch results the next day aren't.

Opposite problem here!! DS and I took tests yesterday. His results have come through to my phone but mine haven't!!

Yes me too! Received a text yesterday for a test I had a week ago, but the test date on the text is the day after I actually had it. So weird! Seems like something is going wrong with the logging system?!

I got one last night and so did my OH!! About 10 o'clock we got the PCR test result that we did last week and wrong date !! Strange

I wonder if they've double counted my test for their "test taken" stats
