Has anyone got their (eligible) 12 to 15 year old vaccinated yet?

If so, how?
GP surgery confirmed my 14 year old should be vaccinated but I don't know if this can happen now and they said we'dbe called. Obviously keen to get on with it.
Eligibility is because of living with an immunosuppressed person.

I'm wondering the same for my 16 Yr old. I presume the doctors will contact us or it'll be on the local news as to where/when etc. Has it actually ben officially announced by the government yet?

It was authorised by JCVI a week or two ago but the only thing I can find is a letter to GPS saying they should be aiming for the week commencing 23rd August but invitations should be sent in advance. The BBC says
"Until now, children over 12 have been able to get a jab if they have certain health conditions, live with others who are at a high risk or are nearing their 18th birthday." which makes it sound like it's happening.
My GP - consultant communication hasn't been great and I am worried my teenager will be overlooked. I think I've got it all straight but I can't shake the worry.

No from me (eligible DD) and I was also wondering about others around the country. JCVI updated advice was 19th July so it’s been 2+ weeks. I’ve been told that the planning behind it wasn’t in place though and centres will need paeds special set up such as paeds resuscitation. It was mentioned in BBC news briefly about indemnity insurance not being place. I think it’s all pretty complicated for paeds age range. Hopefully they will sort it soon.
