Can someone clarify something regarding care homes and covid please?

If two staff members or more test positive does a care home legally have to close to visitors? As in no families can visit for 10days? Can't find the rules anywhere on it.

Yes, in the case of an outbreak (two or more cases) visiting should be stopped apart for two reasons - exceptional circumstances such as end of life and for those treated as "essential care givers" who are treated the same as staff in terms to twice weekly LFT and weekly PCR.
