I haven't seen my family in ages, but I now have a flight to go next week. PLF and Day 2 (Day 3 in reality) test needed, but no quarantine. We have to use the Welsh Gov mandated website for tests. I can't get much info on this before booking and I am wondering if anyone has done this journey? The silly website says they deliver to the home were you're ordinarily resident - this obviously makes no sense in my case. Do I need to be at home on the day it's delivered? I was hoping to visit other family on that day and I'm supposed to be free to move around as the quarantine has been lifted.

I don't know, sorry. Wondering would it help posters who pop on here to know from which country you are flying?

I hope someone here can help.

Good luck.

From an amber country in the EU.

Did Wales join with this too? Immigration is devolved so they can do what they want. Maybe it was just England.

I’ve just looked at the Gov.Wales website and I think it means that the address you quarantine at is the address the tests are sent to.
There is a LOT of info on that site op; very confusing.
NHS Wales phone number 111 are the people to request advice from, it seems. Not sure how easy that is from where you’re calling, as I only ever call them from Wales, if that makes sense!
There is a Wales thread on the Mumsnet coronavirus board; it’s a few pages back on here, I think but someone may be more helpful than me.

I have no idea, but you could try posting in the Draignet section?

I didn't realise it was up and running yet. I'll try that, thanks.

Hi, yes, I doubt 111 has an international service as it's an NHS number. Yes, I will interpret residence as wherever you're staying, but it's really misleading. I still need to know whether I have to stay in to receive it. Maybe that info is given out once you've ordered the test, but I don't want to do that too soon in case the rules change again.

Yes, Wales has joined. I've checked the website, but would like to discuss with someone who's actually done it.

Can you get your Wales based family to call 111 for you?

I need to get the information myself.

And in any case, what I'm really looking for is someone else in the same situation who can tell me how it works. The person on 111 would just say the same as is on the Welsh Gov website wouldn't they. The tests are sold by a different company.
