Double jabbed and positive. Vaccine side effects vs symptoms

I have posted this question already in the double jabbed thread, but thought I'd start a separate thread. I am intrigued to know whether there is any correlation between side effects you experienced with the vaccine and your current symptoms.

So for those of you who are double jabbed and had a positive test:
What side effects did you get from your vaccine?
What are your covid symptoms like?

So I will go first obvs!

Vaccine: AZ (Jan and March)
Side effects:
1st dose: within 6 hours, extreme fatigue, bone and muscle ache, temperature. Lasted about 24 hours like short dose of proper 'flu.
2nd dose: Felt achey and fatigued, early night and felt fine next day.

COVID symptoms:

Started with blocked nose, mildly burning chest (Thought it may have been acid reflux as have been suffering with that recently) developed intermittent cough, and bit of ache but nowhere near as bad as with first dose. Functioning normally ( now day 3 of symptoms)

I am desperately clutching at straws really and hoping that my initial reaction after 1st dose indicates a strong immune response and that my symptoms will continu to be mild as we're already havingto cut holiday short by 5 days!

Not me, but my sis and BIL. Both double jabbed, no side effects to speak of. Both were quite ill with covid, headache, loss of taste, blocked nose. Neither of them are ones to wallow in illness, so when sis says they both feel awful, then they really are quite bad.

My vaccine side effects were like yours. My actual Covid was a cough, then a horrible head cold and feeling exhausted and needed to stay in bed for a day. Then lost taste and smell. It's not back yet and that was three weeks ago. Also I don't have much energy yet.

I consider I have a healthy lifestyle in that I exercise regularly and have a good diet so I'm mostly annoyed that DP who eats crap all day (I cook healthy stuff, he just stuffs his face with crisps and the kids sweets) drinks too much and does no exercise got it mildly! Confused

Second Pfizer in May. I didn't really get any effects from the two jabs. Dh and both dc got covid couple of weeks ago. I tested negative on pcr and lfts and no symptoms.

I was ok with just the cough and carried on as normal, it really kicked in day 5 a and it hit hard.

What strikes me about this is how everybody gets it completely different and you can't predict how you will feel.

I hope you get a mild case!
