The county Council have advertised that this will continue over the summer due to covid but I haven't received mine.

This happened in the January lockdown and I called the school and it was a mistake on their behalf that they rectified, as its now the summer and they're shut I don't know who to contact.
I know parents in the local schools have got theirs but don't know anyone at our school who is entitled so have no one to ask and gauge whether they've just not been sent yet or I've been missed off again.
Anyone know what I should do?
Should I contact the county council or just wait and hope.
It would come in really handy right now.

have you got an email adress for the school? Someones probably still reading the emails.

Contact the free school meals department at the council, my LA has a handy email address.

Do you have a covid/safeguarding lead at the school? They will likely be still checking until 16th as that's when the schools have been advised to monitor any children's positive case notifications until so they can signpost you correctly.

Failing that, the FSM dept at your county council email address should be able to help you too

Last summer i didnt get mine until the schools went back. This time, ive gotten them a week before they break up.

Schools have not been advised to monitor Covid cases until the 16th! It stopped on July 19th.
OP email the school office, someone should be checking emails once a week.
Failing that contact the council as they probably can help with any hardship queries.

Thank you all.
I'm going to wait until about Wednesday next week and if I still haven't had anything I'll contact the County Council.
