Anyone actually got a MIQ in NZ space before?

Not sure where to post this. I’m trying to go with my family there end/beginning of 2021/2022 but am hearing negative reports. Such as 20% rooms not actually released, bots snapping up the spaces, by the time you’ve refreshed the page/entered details available space gone. Do we have any hope?

All I know is they are currently fully booked to end of October and slots for November not yet released

Yes, am a citizen and currently getting dcs citizenship/passports sorted. Was hoping to go back for 4 months as parents are 90 and a big worry (but fortunately healthy).
