Loss of smell and taste - when did it return?

I know everyone is different but I'd love some positivity on this subject. I know it could be so much worse but I am finding it really hard. When were you able to smell and taste again?

It took 10 days for mine to return

Took adult DS over a year, and still not quite right.

I believe I had it before we even knew it was here. I couldn't smell or taste for weeks. It was so weird and off putting and I didn't stop moaning about it because I had no idea I could have died from this 'bad cold'. Hope it comes back soon and you make a full recovery Flowers

Probably about 12 weeks to return fully, and about 6 weeks before I could taste anything at all. It's very depressing, I feel for you!

Yesterday, everything tasted of nothing. Today I can taste. Maybe not quite 100%, but I can taste. So it lasted maybe 36 hours?

I had about a week of altered taste - food tasted either of perfume or chemical disinfectant, but never lost sensation completely.
I’ve been ill with long Covid for 16 months, since getting out of hospital, but my taste has been normal during that.
