Just wondering what recent experiences people have had with PCR tests. We did one a few weeks ago and it was back within 18 hours, but I think the system is struggling more now. Anyone got any recent intel for me? (We're in the South-West, if it matters.)

Thanks for all these. Ours came back (negative) late last night - 16 hours.

We have relatives coming that we haven't seen for a year today. So relieved.

Hope those with positive tests on here recover soon.

@McCheney73

Also in South West so probably not what you want to hear but nearly 4 days and no results 😡

Tried chasing it up and it's been reported but could still take another 3 days.

Since done another one today. Its not the first time they lost my test..

My son's nursery made him get tested

Me again.

So tested again at 2 got results at 5 this morning.
That's more like it!

Clearly lost my others 4 days now...

If that regularly happens no wonder we are in the mess we are...

Negative btw snotty 14 month old nursery made him test

Yorkshire here. Tested Friday 4PM at a Walk In centre. Received the results 10AM Saturday, so 18 hours. We’ve had a few done over the past 2 months which all took 20 hours.
Positive this time unfortunately.
