Hot flushes due to menopause or covid?

We are isolating anyway due to being pinged. Yesterday I did an LFT as part of our regular testing and it was negative. Yesterday I kept getting whet felt like hot flushes. I am peri menopausal so didn't think much of it. Today I've woken up with a bad headache and flushes combined with chills at the same time. I have sweat beading on my top lip but feel cold. Temp is 37.3 but I take regular paracetamol anyway. I ache, but I do anyway. I'm tired, but I am anyway.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

what about a pcr?

I don't have the answer but I'm following with interest as I have had a similar feeling and thought it was down to my covid vaccine on Wednesday. My body has felt cold but my face is on fire. I had a hysterectomy last year, I kept my ovaries but was advised they could die so have been pondering if a symptom or menopause starting.

That's not a hot flush.

mibbelucieachwell · 25/07/2021 13:23

That doesn't sound like menopausal hot flushes.

Hope you feel better soon.

You need to get a PCR OP. They don't sound like normal hot flushes (at least not like mine!). Best to be safe. Good Luck

I've had hot flushes before due to induced medical menopauses but they started at my feet and swept up. So these don't feel like that but then that wasn't a normal menopause, it was rapid onset menopause from hell. It's quite cool here today so I can't blame the weather. I often have headaches but not had a bad one for a while. Under a lot of stress blah blah. Feel relatively normal for me just chilly and sweaty despite just having a shower.

Peri.
I've been like this for a few months. The heatwave just makes it worse
