Yes, book a PCR confirm

Hellocatshome · 25/07/2021 12:33

Yes an obvious second line

HavfrueDenizKisi · 25/07/2021 12:33

Think so

GinQueen1844 · 25/07/2021 12:33

Yes

ChocBeforeCock · 25/07/2021 12:33

Maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing but yes it does and doesn’t even look particularly faint.

Book a PCR, and I hope you’re ok Flowers

LFQuery · 25/07/2021 12:34

Yes that’s a clear line.

Realitea · 25/07/2021 12:34

It’s very clearly positive

User5827372728 · 25/07/2021 12:34

Very much so

Hope you few ok with it

rainbowunicorn · 25/07/2021 12:34

It is a very clear positive. I am not sure why you need randoms to tell you that. The test line is dark and the instructions that come with th etest will confirm that is what a positive looks like.

ApolloandDaphne · 25/07/2021 12:34

That's not even a faint line. Of course it is positive. A PCR is needed now.

daphnedoo12 · 25/07/2021 12:34

Yes

KezzabellaB · 25/07/2021 12:37

Definitely

CatherineCawood · 25/07/2021 12:40

100% yes

WhatMattersMost · 25/07/2021 12:41

Ummmm, yes! Hmm

Mattie82 · 25/07/2021 12:42

Very definite 2nd line

Scarby9 · 25/07/2021 12:43

Very definitely.

OliveTree75 · 25/07/2021 12:44

That is obviously positive

Bobholll · 25/07/2021 12:49

Is this a joke? It’s clearly extremely positive?!

Northernsoullover · 25/07/2021 12:51

No, not at all. No second line there whatsoever. Nothing to see here Confused

FurrySlipperBoots · 25/07/2021 12:52

Right?! So how come the PCR taken the next day came back as negative?! What I'm wondering is if the lateral flow tests are so inaccurate people think they have a mild dose/are symptom-less, and are self isolating without cause!

Unless there is some sort of back story where OP is partially sighted it is worrying that they are having to ask. What would happen if there wasn't a forum of strangers to ask would they just carry on as normal spreading Covid everywhere they go?

Northernsoullover · 25/07/2021 12:56

Does the person have symptoms? It is well known that on occasion that PCRs can miss an infection. No need to be quite so triumphant if symptoms are involved. If there are zero symptoms I would cautiously carry on my business.
TeaAndBisquits · 25/07/2021 13:00

The Lateral flow tests are notoriously inaccurate, which is why they're always meant to be followed up with a PCR test.

My LF tests for the last 4 days have read negative, including this morning's one despite my PCR result coming through this morning as positive.

I think they're only 60% accurate.

FurrySlipperBoots · 25/07/2021 13:02

It's mine. I have a mild tickle at the back of my throat, and feel tired (but then have been working hard recently!) but no other symptoms.

I'm confusing myself now - this one is 'lateral flow' right? The ones you get from a box at the chemist? And PCR are the drive through ones? I asked the professionals to do it to get the most accurate result, and got the text saying negative in less than 24 hours.

I would retake the PCR in a few days
