I get B12 jabs in the muscle and get a sore arm but this pain after covid vaccine is insane. It's agony to move and even throbs just generally going about life even with my other arm. It is so so painful. Is this normal? When will it stop Sad

@MercyBooth

This worries me. If its that bad i wouldnt be able to get in and out of the bath or wash and rinse my hair. What the fuck about hygiene FFS
Dh had to come in shower to wash my hair for me as I couldn't lift my arm. Day 3 and still no better and now have vomiting and severe pain in my forehead too Sad

@YellowEllis when did you get it done? I had my second moderna yesterday morning and my arm is very painful. I can't lift it above 90 degrees. However it isn't nearly as painful as it was after my first one. It felt like I'd been smashed in the shoulder with a metal weight. No painkiller would touch it, the pain was so bad I felt sick from it. That lasted nearly a week then it just painful for another week but bearable.

@YellowEllis Thats shit. Hope its better soon Flowers

I have a bath no shower which means i have to lift myself in and out.

Woken up today and still can't completely lift my arm up but it's a lot better which I didn't expect after how bad it was yesterday. I don't have the headache or sickness today so far either!

Arm a bit tender after first AZ but nothing after second.

Back in the 70s had to have a cholera jab for travelling and arm was so sore I couldn't even bear it covered by a blouse sleeve. DH and I had to help each other dress for several days and wash each others hair. Two friends we were travelling were the same. We all had the injection at the same time by the same nurse. Don't know if it was her technique or the contents of the jab.

Yeah I had the vomiting, fluey symptoms and really bad arm pain after first AZ. Couldn’t sleep on my arm for over 2 weeks. Haven’t had second dose yet. Crossing fingers it’s not as bad…

Oh I'm really worried after reading all this 😬.

Had second Pfizer yesterday - it did feel like it was done quite high in my arm and I could feel the liquid going in.

5 hours later I couldn't lift my arm at all from the shoulder and couldn't drive. Last night was absolute agony - having to pull / lift my arm in order to turn over or get comfortable. The pain is hard to explain, but I guess it was like fire and daggers in my shoulder and down my arm.

Was really hoping to be better this morning, but it is still painful 😣
