No reaction after 2nd Pfizer vaccine

I had my second Pfizer dose yesterday and was expecting to feel terrible overnight and today as it's common to feel bad after the second jab. I slept ok apart from some vivid dreams and have woken up feeling ok.

Has anyone had this? Or had this at this stage and then symptoms developed later?

I have previously had covid (last November) and had heard side effects are worse if you've had it before.

Not what I was expecting (relieved I'm not unwell...yet) but wondering if this has been the case for anyone else!

I had the first Pfizer vaccine about 6 weeks ago, and for weeks after it, had terrible headaches and a woozy head.

I had the second vaccine on Thurs, and was very worried about a repeat of the headaches. But luckily, I've noticed no symptoms!
I'm hoping the don't develop over the week.

I’m the same as you - I had Covid in December, first jab in January and had awful abdominal symptoms and a temperature, second jab 7 weeks later - nothing. I have antibodies still so it worked!

I know a few people who've had no side effects to either jab of any variety. It's not worth talking about if nothing happens, so I think you tend not to hear about it, but I think in reality loads of people get jabbed and feel no ill effects at all.
It has no correlation with the vaccine's effectiveness - I've seen this stated multiple times from medical sources.

Yes I also felt poorly after the first (headache, tired, incredibly sore arm) but after the second had an achy arm for a day and that was it!

I had the Pfizer jab and no side effects after either apart from an achey arm for 24 hours. Same goes for my husband. I think I may have had Covid right at the beginning of 2020 but can't say for sure.

I felt headachy and tired etc after first one but had second two days ago and feeling fine so far.

Yep didn’t have any ill effects either.

Bit of a headache the next day, then the second day I was tired for a few days and the injection site came up red, but very small, less than a cm. I didn't get Covid Arm the second time.

I had no side effects after my 2nd jab, felt totally normal.

Thanks all! I didn't have any side effects from the first one either. Only an achey arm. Fingers crossed nothing else develops!

I had zero affects from either jab bar a sore arm. I don’t know anyone who had bad side effects from Pfizer actually, the odd headache reported among friends but nothing else. I’m 33 so the vast majority of my social network had Pfizer. Modena gave more side effects among friends.

Side effects are not compulsory - just because they can occur does not mean they have to.
And not every change in the way one feels is the result of the vaccine, coincidence does not equal causation.

I had no reaction either. I reckon it's just water! 😂

Most people I know have had no side effects from whichever jab they've had which is statistically what you'd expect isn't it?

That's good to know. I expected to have a reaction because every person I know who's had it has felt rough after. I guess as a pp said, people don't mention if they felt fine, only if they felt unwell so you just hear that more and assume it will be the same for you!

DH had no symptoms from either first or second Pfizer. Some people are just lucky like that. Be glad, OP

I had covid in March and had no side effects whatsoever from either Pfizer jab. Quite a few of my family and friends have had Pfizer and not a single one had any side effects.
