Mass events only 15% off participants took required tests

From the nature bulletin today. What was the point of these mass testing events if only 15% of people actually took the tests that were required! I thought they'd been declared a great success

That’s awful! Surely they should have made it a compulsory part of being able to attend these events, with fines for non compliance

I think they’re self tests as well, so not necessarily done properly or by the correct person even if the results were recorded!

Assumed it would be compulsory. FFS, we really are a moronic country.
