Not sure if the person has covid but they say they are a bit run down and warm. Three of their friends who they spend quite a bit of time aren't well. They haven't expanded on what they mean by aren't well! However they have asked a favour of us this weekend (because friends aren't well) which involves being inside their home for potentially a few hours. There is supposedly no one else who can help!
Do we ask when they say run down what they actually mean?
Don't want to put ourselves at risk but don't want to let them down either.

If they have symptoms ('a bit warm') they should book a PCR test (not a LFT as they're not so reliable).
I wouldn't go inside their house if they haven't done this and got a negative result.

I’d ask for a pcr test too or wouldn’t he helping. I’d never expect others over if I was ill and put them at risk.
