Flu - when to book?

Work are paying for staff to have their flu vaccine. I will also qualify for a booster Covid 19 vaccination. Is there a minimum amount of time these should be given apart? I'm not sure how long the flu vaccination provides protection, does anyone know?

Just trying to work out whether to book flu vaccine end September. No idea when Covid 19 boosters will be available, but I will qualify alongside NHS staff.

And this is why you don’t say things have been “all signed off” when they haven’t…

DH got a text yesterday from GP to book his flu jab. I’ve booked mine with Boots for next week, as I don’t think I will be called for a while yet.

Local pharmacy say that current guidelines are that they should be administered together or 7 days apart.

They haven't called those in the unlucky 500,000 for their third shots yet (there's a thread about this where we're lamenting yet another 'soon' announcement that appears to be no such thing, and wondering how it's going to work round out already-booked flu shots)

I wouldn't hold up getting a flu shot whilst waiting for further announcements on a possible wider covid booster programme
