So I woke up in the night feeling like crap. Headache, muscle aches, sore throat. Decided to do a LFT which came back positive so booked onto a PCR test this morning. I am currently waiting for the results.

However, I am due my second jab on Saturday. Obviously if my PCR comes back positive then I can't go, but its 11.5 weeks after my first (I did try to get one sooner, but couldn't book anything) so if I have to cancel it I will miss the 12 week deadline. Will I have to start again and have both vaccines? Has anyone else been in this situation?

Sorry if it's been discussed. I went through 7 pages of the coronavirus topic and googled in general, but couldn't find any answers.

No just rebook. It's fine, we have had loads over the 12 week mark. Hope you are feeling better soon

It's fine just to rebook your 2nd vaccination. BTW you have to wait 4 weeks after covid before having your jag :-( I'll be 16 weeks by the time I get my 2nd jag due to isolating then having covid!

Just rebook later. Sorry you aren't well, hope you get better soon.

We also had loads of people over the 12 week mark getting their 2nd vaccine because they caught COVID.

OK thanks everyone. I will wait for the results of the PCR (just incase my LFT was a false positive and I'm better by the weekend) and then rebook when I can.
