Barnaby is a climate change denier and a hypocrite (voted no on same sex marriage - citing family values whilst fucking his advisor behind his wife and 4 daughters backs... it is gobsmaking he is our deputy PM).

That’s angelic behaviour compared to our PM.

So sorry you’ve been through it too. Cruel is the word. The rules have been a double-edged sword — they have kept my mum safe from Covid, and given how ill she is that is a blessing and I’m grateful for that. But they have stopped us moving home to care for her in her last days, which is dreadful. We’re still trying desperately but the recent cut in the quota messed up our plans again.

And there’s Katie Hopkins (of all people!) getting special entry for Celebrity Big Brother. It’s so awful I almost have to laugh.

I’m sorry you can’t visit your mum @IndigoC. I’m here in Aus and nearly threw up in my mouth when I read that they’d let that woman in, and then again under those conditions. I have friends who have been trying to get back for many months. By and large, Aussies are very grateful for our isolation and we are aware of how lucky we are to have been so protected (comparatively) from this fucking virus. Our Federal (National) Govt is still inhumane and evil, but we have been protected by our State Governments and our Constitution in this regard. Barnaby is an embarrassment that just won’t go.

I honestly thought KH was fairly savvy, in her own bigoted right wing self-centred attention-seeking way. I didn't know she was so downright thick as to believe this stunt would ultimately earn her money & fame -- or was it indeed desperation to get attention in Aussie media that led to such stupidity?

Was The video badly edited, maybe? Did she actually say that she was entertaining a fantasy when she described the plan --only a fantasy but demonstrates how quarantine makes you go nuts? I know I'm clutching at straws, here.

She's only succeeded in making herself look very foolish. Is being a fool part of her brand? I suppose it has worked for Boris Johnson.

Her mistake was thinking that Australia was the same as the UK. She assumed she'd get applause and cheers. She thought they too wanted Freeeedoom to kill and disable, and damage the healthcare system and the economy The majority of Australians support their measures to suppress and contain. They don't want to end up like the UK. Recent polling shows that something like 77% of Australians support the border closures (including state borders). They don't need or want English idiots messing up their hard work.

She's had serious brain surgery related to epilepsy which has left her with long term damage, but she also seems to be a professional troll who thrives on any kind of attention, good or bad.

I wonder what her behaviour was like before the brain surgery 🤔 sometimes brain surgery alters personalities and can affect their social filter.

Ergh can't we refuse her access ? I don't want her back here either , although I wouldn't wish her on any other country either so I suppose we made her we should probably take responsibility. Isn't there a totally unpopulated island we can extradite her to. I mean with food and water , I draw the line at death but you know somewhere she can't spread her ridiculousness?

I don't believe for a single bloody second there is anything wrong with her. I've worked with lots of ABI service users or those having gone through a multitude if MH or medical concerns. None of them were as awful as her (and seriously I have heard some doozies). She just likes making money out of being human detritus.
