Masks are never going away, are they?

Covid’s not going away.

Many uber drivers wear their mask under their nose or mouth. They do mitigate with open windows.

Given how uncomfortable it must be to wear it all day, every day, long hours, especially in summer, I don't blame them.

Sometimes the cars smell gross anyway. Open the windows right up. Leave your mask on. Win win

Masks are needed to help reduce air droplets being emitted while covid is here.

Not that I’ve noticed.

Yes I think face mask will become a permanent feature from now on.

They are very popular to show “you are doing something to stop the spread of disease” so will stay unless concern about the environment aspect becomes “thing” again but I don’t think the plastics issue is really cared about now is it?

I got an Uber recently. The driver wasn't wearing his. I asked if he'd like me to put mine on and he said he wasn't bothered. So I didn't. Seems a good compromise to me 🤷‍♀️

I’ve taken four Ubers in the last month, all wore masks.

To be honest, it’s a minor inconvenience and doesn’t really bother me.

I’ve taken about 70 trips in the last month. Up and down the country.
I’d say it’s 50/50 on drivers wearing masks.

This seems very sensible. My teen takes an Uber a few times each week, he says all the drivers wear masks.
