Scenes of gay abandon in Rome….

It’s not just Wembley or Wimbledon. I was just perusing Italian media and there were jubilant crowds in Rome as football team did open top bus tour. The Indian variant is becoming the dominant strain there too.

Just thought I’d mention this as a balance to some posters who think high covid cases only exist in the UK (specifically England) and that only the English “swarm” and only our gov “lets it rip”.

I know the figures for Cyprus, for parts of Spain and for the Netherlands. Which does not make me happier when I am certain UK case numbers though rising would be half what they are (or less) if Mr Johnson had acted correctly in April.

Mark Rutte, the Dutch Prime Minister has acknowledged mistakes, something Mr Johnson and the government here have not done and never learn from.

Covids Coming Home
Well not really. Only 1,000 Italian fans were allowed to travel to London and back.

But that's OK. They only needed 11 to win. Grin
