Do I still have to check in?

I'm in a café and the woman commented that I was one of the few who still do that. Does that mean it's not compulsory anymore?

It is until Monday but I don’t think it’s enforced much anymore even now. I stopped doing it ages ago when I deleted the app. I gave my name and number if they asked though

I thought it was supposed to be compulsory until Monday. I went out at the weekend with my friend and she checked in with the app but I don't have it so I was ready to give my details but as I wasn't asked I didn't offer them.

Oh, OK. I won't bother then, if no one's enforcing it.
