late ovulation and pregnant after covid vaccine

I just discovered a friend of mine had the exact same thing as me and just wondered if anyone else had.

In both cases we had out covid vaccine and our period was due 2-3 weeks later. In both cases our next period was super light - just light spotting so took pregnancy tests and was negative. We both later found out we must of ovulated a week late and what we thought was our period was implantation bleeding and we were three weeks at that point so too early for tests to pick up.

She didn't find out til she was 5.5 weeks pregnant and i didn't realise til i was 7 weeks!

For the record both of us were thrilled and actually happy we didn't have that extra time to be anxious etc as had previous issues

Anyone else had anything similar?

Not with the vaccine but the month I had suspected covid I fell pregnant after 15 months of trying. It seemed to lengthen my luteal phase or something because what I thought was my period was implantation bleeding.

Sort of? DH and I had been trying for over a year, no luck, I have pcos so super irregular periods etc. Had my first Covid vaccination at the start of January and conceived start of February (ish), so that seemed strange to me.
But it may be total coincidence, of course. I did also start v v low carb 6-8 weeks before which has been widely reported as helping with ttc when it comes to pcos, so it may be down to that. We’ll never know… but we are over the moon Grin

Yep. COVID vaccine delayed ovulation by two weeks, now 17 weeks pregnant!

Yep, my covid vaccine actually brought forward my ovulation date and here I am currently trying not to be ill whilst 9 weeks pregnant. Quite the surprise!
