How many senior school children are doing their regular lft testing?

My ds is doing it as requested by the school twice a week but we constantly get emails encouraging the kids to do them so I'm assuming a lot of people aren't anymore?

Mine is, although it’s more like 3 every 2 weeks because we keep forgetting.

I’ve only bothered to log about 3 of them with the NHS site. We are supposed to fill in a second form and email to the school too. I did this exactly once. They’ve never chased me!

I report it to school but not to NHS. If if was positive I would. Take so long and already have to do it 3 times a week for myself at work.

DH's school they were all doing them twice a week but it's a boarding school so administered by the Matron, with chocolate bars for the first year group to get all their tests results in each time.

@BrotherSisterRelationship

If anyone is reading this thread what happens if you refuse consent to your child doing LFTs?

DC is starting (state) secondary in September and we have been asked to give consent to these tests which is voluntary? Although it doesn't appear voluntary from the tone of the letter.

Not saying I will refuse before anyone starts in but I'm interested what happens if anyone has refused.

If you refuse consent, they don't do them. Either a parent or the child can refuse consent. I don't think they have a record of which individuals are /aren't doing them, just numbers linked to a location so they can see if fewer than expected are reporting.
