Pfizer jab and periods - what to expect after 2 months?

Looking for advice please! Usually time of the month for me has always been around 25th-27th, however after my first vaccine it was around 6 weeks between so just finished yesterday. My concern is my smear test is booked for the 10th of next month, it's already overdue and I've waited almost 2 months for this appointment!

Can anyone please let me know their experience with the second period post vacc if it affected your timing, did your cycle just follow a month from the new time? If so I'm going to have to try and move my appointment aren't I...

My first one was delayed after the jab but after that it followed a new 28 day cycle (so the second one started 4 weeks after the delayed one started).

Thanks @belimoo - in that case I'd best start trying to get through to rebook now, phoning is a nightmare Sad

Ah sorry to hear that! That's only one person's experience though so I guess yours may be different.

Mine are like clockwork usually though and I had a clockwork 28 days from when the delayed one started, so it did just affect one cycle and then completely readjust.

I had my jab and I had a period from my cervix! It has been almost 3 years since my hysterectomy! It followed again the month after so no idea what will come.

Backboiler have you seen your GP about that bleed? If you have no uterus, you really should get checked.

Yes I am awaiting a hospital appointment but the Pfizer jab has been the only thing that's been different and I have read about post menopausal and trans men commencing their periods!

So an update, I moved my smear test to next month - appointment 23rd, next soonest I could get, just to come on heavily today, 2 weeks after the last, and now the same time next month as the sodding smear! I now don't know what to do, as am still to get my 2nd jab so god knows what that will do, and my GP are going to think I'm an absolute messer! So annoyed...
