Odd reaction to vaccination- swollen neck

Since my vaccination 2 weeks ago I’ve had a swollen neck- it’s an obvious lump. My husband says it’s like a bird with crop of food. For a week it was painful and I could barely turn my neck but now it doesn’t hurt at all, simply looks ugly and odd. My lymph nodes in my armpits swelled but are now normal; however my neck is still swollen. Did anyone else get this? How long for it to go away?

I would ring GP for advice or 111.
Because it's been 2 weeks. Hope it gets sorted for you OP

The liklihood is that its to do with the vaccine, but any lumps or bumps need to be seen by a doctor.

After my second jab my armpit glands swelled in the side I got the vaccine in but that was only on Thursday and they've gone down now. I would call my GP if I were you.

If you google "covid vaccine swollen lymph nodes" loads of info comes up. A lot of people have experienced this side effect. It seems common, although I'm definitely not saying it's "normal" or "ok". I still find all of the side effects very worrying. But if it's been like that for a while I would go speak with your GP. It also seems more common with the Pfizer and Modena vaccines, so therefore much more common in the US from why I've read.
