Has anyone not reacted to second Pfizer?! And have you had vaccine whilst you have a cold?

The first Pfizer I felt dodgy on and off for 3-4 weeks after, I’m worried about the same happening again?! And has anyone had the vaccine whilst they have had a cold or is the advice to postpone it?

I reacted badly to my first and had my second one while I had a cold - barely registered.

DarkHumour · 11/07/2021 17:14

I also felt quite unwell after my first Pfizer for 10 days or so, I felt fine after the second dose. Didn’t have a cold during either, but I’m sure I read it’s still fine to receive the vaccine if you have a head-cold.

badheadday · 11/07/2021 17:15

I felt rough for about 5 days after my first and nothing at all after my second

Hirewiredays · 11/07/2021 17:16

First one I was so ill afterward for a good 3/4 weeks. Second, just a bit tired and I went to bed early and that was it. My husband was fine the first and then poorly after the second. The same happened to me as my sister.

frankiefirstyear · 11/07/2021 17:18

I reacted only with sore arm on both occasions. I did have the dregs of a cold when I went in for my second dose but it cleared up within a couple of days of having the Pfizer vaccine.

WhiskeryWoman · 11/07/2021 17:18

I was fine after both. A wee bit woozy, a bit of nausea and sore arm.

Moana123 · 11/07/2021 18:10

Same for me sore arm and very slightly woozy after both first & second jabs. No serious side effects at all.

Bryonyshcmyony · 11/07/2021 18:12

I felt fine both times. I was a bit disappointed actually I wouldn't have minded a day or two in bed with a mild flu like illness.

Bobholll · 11/07/2021 20:41

I had no symptoms with either jab bar a very sore arm 🤷🏼‍♀️

user1498572889 · 11/07/2021 22:03

I had a cold and was on antibiotics when I had my second jab. I was fine.

Whoam · 11/07/2021 22:14

I had my 2nd jab yesterday @5pm. Last night felt very nauseous and tired.. really sore, tender arm. Today sore arm.

TiggerSnoozer · 12/07/2021 00:16

No reaction other than a sore arm to the 2nd Pfizer. After the 1st my arm was more sore and I slept more / v deeply for a day or two. Was hoping for slightly more reaction in fact - has me concerned it didn't do anything!

EccentricaGalumbits · 12/07/2021 00:21

The side effects were similar but slightly milder for me after the 2nd dose.

Indoctro · 12/07/2021 00:22

I felt nothing after either of them , not a single thing.

PickAChew · 12/07/2021 00:26

Ds1 was absolutely fine with both. Couldn't even see where he'd been pricked.

sadie9 · 12/07/2021 00:34

Nothing at all 2nd jab. Arm was barely sore.

DotBall · 12/07/2021 00:55

Nothing other than a very slightly achy arm. I had a cold at the time which turned into sinusitis lasting 5 weeks.

Mandalay246 · 12/07/2021 07:39

No reaction after either, other than a sore arm for a couple of days.

Whathefisgoingon · 12/07/2021 08:23

I felt “off” for 48 hours after the fist; like a hangover. After the second i had body aches and felt like I was coming down with something the night of the jab and the next day I was fine.

I was healthy both times, however my niece actually got vaccinated with Pfizer whilst she had covid (unbeknownst to her.)
