I didn't get a vaccine card for 1st vaccine

When I had. my first AZ vaccine in April, it was a hugely busy day as all the under 50 had just become eligible. I went into the pharmacy, they jabbed me and didn't give me anything to take home, no information leaflet and no vaccine card.

When I had my section vaccine I got a card. How can I prove that I've had both?

Download the NHS app - not the Covid one, the general one. Your vaccine record should be in there

DH did the same. Just download the NHS app it will be on there.

Don’t worry loads of people lose them. It’s on the system

Download the nhs app and log in with your nhs number and personal details and it will show details of all your Covid vaccinations and you can request an emailed Covid vaccination status.

Yes, I got a card for the first but not the second. Both are registered on my app record.

@RubbishRug The cards are not proof of vaccination, only the Covid pass (through app, or online, or on paper) is suitsble as evidence.

As others say card is useless now there is the app.

Good to know! I've downloaded the app. It just gives you a barcode that is valid for 2 days. it doesn't say what vaccine you had and when.

If you go to vaccination record it gives you more detail there

I've just got "get your NHS covid pass' and then a link saying Event trials.

Go back a step and find “your health”, underneath covid pass is a “covid vaccination record” section

Your surgery can add details of first if needs be. But the card is not in itself "proof".

If you click on the link that says travel rather than the event trials it gives a pass that's valid for a month. There are also options to have it emailed to you and to download a PDF. It says don't worry about the month end date as this will be extended when you then get to the end date. Mine says the date and vaccine I had, and I think it also says where I had the vaccine

That's weird. I can't find my 1st card. When I had 2nd jab, the staff (3 ppl for just me?!) wrote on a card the dates of both my 1st & 2nd vaccine. It's on my app login, too.
