Second vaccine anxiety please talk to me!

I have had health anxiety for many years but the last few years it’s been well controlled.
I haven’t even felt that anxious through the whole pandemic and went to my first vaccination with no worries.

I have my second vaccination tomorrow and I am in a state of total anxiety. I think my Jain concern is that I take medication for tachycardia and I keep seeing things about the risk of heart problems after the second Pfizer jab.

To clarify I have no actual heart problems just for whatever reason it has a few times gone super fast and I have had to have drugs in a and e to slow it.

I also had 0 side effects after the first jab.

Can someone slap some sense into me about this.

I think that if arrhythmias were a contraindication for the vaccine we would certainly know that by now. Arrhythmias are rooted in the nervous system, not the heart itself.

If you had no side effects from the first jab you really should be fine. Worry instead about catching the delta variant before you have full immunity from the second jab.

I had my second yesterday to also Pfizer. Sore arm today but zero other side effects, same as my first jab.
To be honest, I feel so relieved to have had it 2 weeks from 'Freedom Day', that's the news I needed on Monday to get me back down to the Vax centre! 🤷‍♀️

Have you seen the statements about how much covid us going to spread in the next months.
The risk is going up and up there

Thanks everyone im def getting it i nearly died of sepsis after flu a few years ago so I know this is way better than getting Covid

I am just going to have to stride in and not let my anxiety get the better of me !

I’ve recently had my second Pfizer jab and barely any side effects at all. I felt grotty after the first one but hardly anything second time round. Relieved to finally be fully vaccinated!

I had my second this week too and also v anxious but the news about Delta and our reckless government scared me more.

You're just far more likely to die in a car accident than for anything to go wrong. Be brave x
