I'm Covid positive, anyone else had this?

I am literally feeling so ill with flu symptoms, if coronavirus didn't exist I would just feel like I've got the flu.
I am still really ill with it though, headache is the worst, never felt anything like it. Luckily no breathing problems.
I'm on day 3 today.
I'm double jabbed.
Anyone else?

Same here. Poleaxed with it. Pissing be off people saying it’s like a bad cold. It’s not all. Headache is like really painful sinusitis. One benefit is I will lose weight as not eaten for three days. Hope you feel better soon x

When did you get your second jab out of interest?

Back in March was my 2nd Jab.

My sons bubble closed at school last week, he then got it and then passed it me.

Ds’s friends had the same symptoms, lasted for five days.

Wow this is not very reassuring

I had an awful headache last week and was tired, achy and foggy headed for a week. Then DS2 tested positive. I tested negative. Now it looks like DS3 is going to test positive tomorrow. I don’t get it! (all pcr tests btw)

I’ve heard of cases like this. Where several people in the household test positive except the person who actually has the symptoms who tests negative

@Lemons1571 have you considered red testing. My son and DH were exposed together to Covid. Ds and DH went for test after DS had a positive lateral flow, DH Tested negative but then a few days later felt rough and tested positive !

Sounds like the jab didn't give you much anti bodies 😞 hope you feel better soon!

Yes my mum is double jabbed (she’s 68 so had the 2nd jab a few months ago) and has just found out she has covid yesterday. Sounds like her symptoms are very similar to yours and she’s feeling really ill with it

I suppose the case here is thank goodness you are double jabbed as it could have otherwise proved much worse?

Will retest anyone get symptoms I think. Not going to retest anyone who is still asymptomatic.

My dentist was only mentioning today how many people are still getting covid despite being double vaxed.

Surely we are all aware that we can still get Covid despite being fully vaccinated?
