No its alright, we have a new health secretary and Boris has said that the reductions in restrictions are driven by data not dates and are irreversible.
Rejoice the pandemic is over, and there will be 100,000 cases a day next month.

I hope they know what they are doing.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 07/07/2021 08:39

Mmmmm enough to incubate a variant. To say nothing if teens who could well incubate their own virus. Not wanting to be like their parents after all!

SonnetForSpring · 07/07/2021 10:19

Lots of respected scientists don't agree with what the government are doing. It seems there is nothing anyone can do. People keep voting for them. Turkeys voting for Christmas. What can you say...

Dustyboots · 07/07/2021 10:39

It feels very deliberate, doesn't it. Deliberately and impulsively risky and clumsy.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 07/07/2021 10:59

Worrying trend in experts having to state the completely bleeding obvious right now.

AlmostSummer21 · 07/07/2021 11:03

I hope to God someone talks some sense into the idiot before next Monday!!

It won't be the bastard SJ As he wants to overwhelm the NHS. Suits his narrative.

I don't care who MH is kissing, he was better than SJ

I looked last night but couldn't find a petition, please message me if you know of one.

This utter madness needs to be halted.

Boris is famous for his u turns though. I wonder if it was his thing of drip feeding to find opinion.

Yes - this came to my mind and wouldn't surprise me at all.

His statement was very carefully worded tbf. He’d been reigned in for the first but. It was ‘if we open up on the 19th....then all these restrictions will go.’

It will happen because Boris is making the decisions, but someone, somewhere behind the scenes does seem to have an eye on the situation.

Well quite clearly Boris is not responsible for any of this or anything not even the colour or cost of his wallpaper, since he is the Prime Minister and far too busy and important to be responsible.
