Caught covid after vaccine? How did you feel?

It seems there are quite a few of us who have caught covid after being vaccinated and I’m just interested to know what your symptoms were and if you felt very unwell.

I’m double vaccinated (Pfizer). On day 5 now. Just feel a bit chesty, sneezy and have a runny nose. I have not felt unwell so far. I would feel well enough to go to work.

My partner did, no symptoms at all.

One vaccine here and symptom free so far. Only tested because my partner had a positive lateral flow. Interestingly my lateral flow was negative the same day the pcr was positive, they’re pretty worthless!

Just speaking to colleague who has it. Unwell, though getting better a week in.

Doubly vaccinated and feel like shite. Bad headache which feels like sinusitis, high temp, loss of smell and taste, stomach pains and loss of appetite, tiredness and now a cough is starting. Four days in.

Was about to start exactly this thread.

DCs have confirmed covid (PCR) I'm 9 days post 2nd jab and feel awful. Like a really bad head cold. Coughing, snotty, fatigue.
LFT for me negative so far (have booked PCR)

Colleague is just recovering. She was double jabbed, she's classed as ecv because of immune system issues. She started off with bad flu like symptoms and negative tests, turned into a positive test a week later and has been quite ill with it, but no hospitalisation. She has been on steroids, antibiotics and oxygen at home I believe though.

double vaccinated - though suspect I had covid when I had my second jag. as had that on the Thursday and tested positive on the Friday.
at worst felt like a cold, achy, tickly throat and hot flashes. but have worked (from home) with no issues

What vaccines did you all have out of interest?

My DH just got Covid having had one jab of AZ.
Very mild. Started with a very slight fever. Very slight cough and mild tiredness. Has worked all the way through. He seems to be on the mend after 5 days.

I'm double jabbed, Pfizer, got Covid a few days after the second jab and was really ill, needed oxygen and dexamethasone.

Never really felt well since, and although I have been working, I've had to throw in the towel for now, because the symptoms have come roaring back, breathless, cough, fever, aching joints, nausea.

I'm waiting for the PCR result - did it this morning. I think I've got the Delta variant because this is worse than before.

My GP says it would be really unlucky to get Covid twice especially after the vaccinations but hey. Maybe it's just summer flu. I hope so. I miss my job, I want to go back to work, but I can't walk upstairs without oxygen therapy.

DH and DC have all had negative results each time.
