Has anyone had normal periods/conceived easily after being vaxxed?

I've been reading far too many of the threads in this forum about periods being messed up, in some cases seemingly for months on end, and now I'm more than a little terrified after having just had my first jab! I'm sure these bad experiences must represent the minority of women but it doesn't seem that way just from reading the threads...

I'd like to hear positive stories please from those who have been vaxxed and whose periods have remained normal/are cycling as previously, or who have TTC and done so without issue...grateful for some reassurance Smile

Period are completely normal. I’ll let you know about conception in a few weeks!

SpringRainbow · 05/07/2021 15:05

Mine are completely fine, exactly the same as before my vaccination.

I got my first Pfizer jab on June 3rd. I conceived two weeks later, exactly when my fertile window should have been, so it had no impact for me. I did read an article that it can cause delays, but only on a temporary basis, most likely a funny month or two at most.

I had one dodgy period where it was 2 weeks late and now it's back to normal 🙂

I had the vaccine about 1 week aftermy last period, next one came one day earlier than due by my app (normal for me) and hasn't been any longer, shorter, heavier or lighter than normal

I had the Oxford vaccine and after the first one I didn’t have a period for a month and when it finally arrived it was heavy and painful. I just had my second one last week and my period came as normal 2 days later.

Me! Had my Pfizer vaccines on jan 14th and march 26th, we started TTC straight away and I got a positive test thd very next cycle, so I got my period on the 1st of April and pos test approx 14 April. I'm fat and 40 too, so we've been very lucky.

Currently 14 weeks and everything great so far!

L0l0 · 05/07/2021 15:17

I had my second vaccine 15 April. No symptoms or side effects from either jab. Coil removed 21 April. Period 24 April. Conceived that month. I have nothing but positivity about the vaccines! Good luck with yours!

Thanks all, really good to hear!

I had suspected Covid last year and my cycle went much shorter for that month (TTC so I track carefully) but has since returned to normal. Hoping the jab won't affect me too much this time.

Had a weird month the month of dose 1 (long and not sure I ovulated) but that's within the realms of normal for me so can't say if it was the vaccine!

Currently 13dpo and got a faint positive yesterday so looks like I've conceived the month after without issue Smile

Me - completely by accident between IVF cycles. We had been told our chances of natural conception were pretty close to zero and we were doing IVF when i fell pregnant naturally two weeks after mine and a month after DH's pfizer jabs.

Oh and its (suspected fraternal) twins!

endofjune · 05/07/2021 15:23

This worried me a lot but I had my period as normal the week after my first jab. I am 40, by the way.

TakeYourFinalPosition · 05/07/2021 16:08

I got pregnant two weeks after my first jab. Had the second one and am now 16 weeks and all is good.

abi555 · 05/07/2021 16:13

No affect on periods at all for me. Fell pregnant 1 month after my second jab. I also know of 3 other friends that have fallen pregnant within 1-2 months of their first or second jab so haven't personally seen any affect on fertility

pucelleauxblanchesmains · 05/07/2021 18:45

Not pregnant or TTC but I happened to have had mine (Pfizer) on the first day of my last period and 27 days later it's back exactly as usual.
