Track and trace when covid positive person has no symptoms.

I'm aware that when someone tests positive for covid with symptoms it is contacts within 48 hours before symptoms start?!

What if covid positive person has no symptoms. They tested positive on a lateral flow done for work then positive on a pcr. Who has to isolate?? They have no symptoms whatsoever.

I've had brief but pretty close contact with said person 7 days ago. So I assume that I don't have to isolate?? It would only be for 3 days anyway!

Only contacts within 48 hours of the positive test would need to isolate.

The people who were in contact 48 hours before the positive lateral flow test.
