Positive case at kids club told to test not isolate?!

My DC attends an indoor fitness class, they are continuing to wear masks indoors at the request of the organisers and do try to maintain a 2m distance although this goes out the window entirely on entering and leaving.

A child from the class has tested positive and we receive a text form the organiser to say the kids needed to be tested and only a negative test will allow them to this weeks class. No mention of isolating. Does this sound correct?

I am currently on hold to test and protect but expect to be waiting quite a while.

It sounds right if they maintain 2 metre social distance through out the class

Do they mean a lateral flow or pcr? If they don't breach the 1m for 1 minute or 2m for 15 minutes then they don't have to isolate.

It depends what contact they have.

Lol I don't know how I managed to miss a complete line of such a short post.

Yeah if they haven't been in close contact they're fine.
