Apparently the rules don't just not apply to you if you're rich and famous, they also don't apply if you're a swinger. Wohoooo

Lol swingers not singers

OP posts:
MirandaWest · 03/07/2021 22:30

I was wondering why a lot of singers were swinging Grin

Craftycorvid · 03/07/2021 22:31

I’m disappointed, OP! I had visions of an extremely well harmonised orgy. 🤣

ShutUpaYourFace · 03/07/2021 22:59

Are they singing "In out in out shake it all about"
Sorry couldn't resist.
Or are they "Swinging for England" you know singing for England the footy song!
Sorry must be the wine.

MrsFezziwig · 03/07/2021 23:05

Got quite excited then looking forward to when my choir starts rehearsing again….

MrsSchadenfreude · 03/07/2021 23:05

I think they’ll be singing “We’re having a gang bang.” Grin

Faircastle · 03/07/2021 23:30

As someone who is waiting to be able to resume singing in a choir, YABU for getting my hopes up with that title. 😆

Lockheart · 03/07/2021 23:57

I love how the Fail is so horrified they've organised a drone to fly over and get a good look. And apparently have managed to work out where this secret location is, suggesting at least one of their journalists is sufficiently enmeshed in the community as to be able to get tickets.

That exact same photo in the article was in another paper the other week saying hundreds of travellers/gypsies had turned up for a festival without giving the council warning so that covid risk assessments could be made. I'm not convinced the DM is being truthful in this article
Bananapuppy · 04/07/2021 00:26

Ooooh @HalzTangz- I can confirm the religious gypsy festival did happen. It was declared beforehand but a little misrepresented I would say. Caused a bit of havoc.

Sounds like a fun choir to join!
Is it true that tenors do it on the high Cs? Grin

Fishies · 04/07/2021 07:34

I live in grantham where this is happening. And it's certainly not discreet at all or hidden! It's became quite the talk of town.

TheQueef · 04/07/2021 07:35

I only clicked to see if Black Lace are headlining Grin

AtlasPine · 04/07/2021 07:41

All sounds rather exhausting. If I felt an urge to meet up with 200 people in a field it would be to drink tea and eat cake. And that’s it.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 04/07/2021 07:43

Grantham has changed in the two months since I left. Usually the talk of the town was over which bridge a lorry would crash into next and other traffic woes.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 04/07/2021 08:10

Grantham? It doesn’t conjure up images of the rich and infamous arriving in private helicopters. More a minibus to a travelodge.

LynetteScavo · 04/07/2021 08:14

there is a beach party planned for Saturday, which may have been disrupted amid heavy downpours in Grantham Grin

The whole things sounds horrendously pathetic.

TeddingtonTrashbag · 04/07/2021 08:15

"In out in out shake it all about"Grin

LynetteScavo · 04/07/2021 08:18

Swingathon have a website- but I'm too scared to enter itHmmGrin

Furrybutts · 04/07/2021 08:23

I'm a member of the site that organised this event.

We did warn the participants that's the papers would get wind of this. Hmm

Eggnoggoanngoanngoann · 04/07/2021 08:43

@TeddingtonTrashbag 🤣🤣🤣

Grin

Yes me too.

Ooooo, let’s do it. The cake. No “do it” as in humping, I can’t be arsed.

borntobequiet · 04/07/2021 08:51

That’s a very funny article. The headline sums it up mobile DUNGEON. Later on we are told it’s a “full” mobile dungeon. What does that mean? I assume fully equipped. But with what, exactly? I’d know what it meant if it was a kitchen.

LassyClassy · 04/07/2021 08:56

Some rather random events there.. A Linkin Park tribute band, and clay pigeon shooting, amongst other things 😂

Clay pigeon shooting and nudity seems beset with danger - a Midsummer Murders plot line of ever I saw one
