Post AZ vaccine (2nd dose) , body ache & nausea - affecting DS via breastfeeding??

Barely had any reaction after the 1st dose. So this round, I'm surprised to find this morning the all-over body ache and nausea reached an un-ignorable level. Had little appetite the whole day.

Then the mystery is with DS. He's 2 and I'm still breastfeeding. He wasn't keen with the breakfast which was something he usually likes. Drank lots of milk from his cup. Then he just suddenly threw up. All out. And barely hungry for the rest of the day, apart from half egg and half apple.

Just wondering if he caught anything from nursery or he's actually experiencing the vaccine side effect via breastfeeding.

I couldn't find anything online. Is there anyone who had similar experience?

Could you both have a bug? Hope you both feel better soon

I’d guess you both have another illness which just happened to be at the same time as your vaccination.

Sounds right! Mine passed after the 1st day. The LO is still not well with suspected inflammation in his throat. Fingers crossed.

Oh dear. Keep up the breastfeeding! Fingers crossed all is better soon.
