Things are getting serious and are getting traumatic.

WHYYYY does anyone think that a bunch of famous people prancing about will change anyone's mind and is anything more than parading your vaccine political beliefs for self publicity?

Quite clearly we have reached the point where its felt that we have to wheel out the celebs to 'connect with the youth' and all that bollocks and demand for vaccine appointments is waning.

Just why the fuck does this have to be done?

Where is the ad being shown? Many young adults would not have a tv licence, I'm 37 and I don't.

Fwiw I can’t have it as I have really bad reactions especially to things like the flu vaccine and other vaccines. I am saving the nhs by not taking up a bed

Super hi vaccinations in the UK, still got restrictions, still can't travel, kids still sent home, huge numbers asked to isolate despite fully vaccinated & negative test.... and because a dickhead in no10 allowed in 20k people from India with zero restriction.

So if you don't mind, imho we may as of rolled out the vaccines same as EU, they are way ahead of us on travel and few restrictions.

So called celebs get in your face everywhere now. Maybe this is because they have nothing much to do at the moment, They often stick their noses in some kind of campaign or other.. You need to give them some special type of vaccine to shut them all up.

I just watched - and it wasn't quite as awful as I was anticipating, - having said that I never want to watch it again.

I just wonder who it is aimed at. people are either getting the vaccine or not - I doubt the non vaccinators are going to change their minds because of some luvvies doing jazz hands at them.

I do have a soft spot for Jim Broadbent , but that is cancelled out by the nausea I feel when catching any kind of glimpse of David Walliams.

I’m on the fence about getting vaccinated. Things like this video push me off that fence to the side of refusal.

Reasoned intelligent discussion draws me closer to considering that I might get vaccinated. Honestly - as a currently non vaccinated person I would say this video is bad news for the COVID vaccination campaign.

But this was really really bad musical theatre to a song that has certain other connotations

I know that the person who came up with this probably has a list of qualifications but did no one see the connection and stop them

It's kind of insulting actually. Like getting/ not getting the vaccine. hasn't been something that's kept me up at night. Something I've agonised and thought really seriously about. Like some stupid celeb with a throwaway song is enough to make me go 'oh, go on then, silly me.' Patronising in the extreme.
