Period late after Pfizer vaccine

Period now 5 days late after the Pfizer vaccine, anyone else had the same? I have heard of periods coming early, not so much of missed periods.

I was sure it would come last week as I had a lot of cramping/PMS signs, but they have all disappeared since. Took a cheapie pregnancy test and it's negative so it must be the vaccine I guess...

I had dose 1 on April 10th, dose 2 on May 15th, was due on around April 16th, finally got my period last Thursday. While I agree some small fluctuation is perfectly normal, it's definitely abnormal for me to skip periods completely.

Just reported my adverse reaction on the Mhra yellow card scheme. If you have your vaccine record card handy it's helpful as it asks for batch number and date given. Easy to complete!

I slipped a period after I had Covid in March 2020 too

I find Miljea‘s post quite misogynistic

My period was about 10 days late after my first dose. Next one arrived slightly earlier than usual. Having my second dose on Friday so we will see what happens

Tons of threads and people reporting this. I'm Not being an arse, just so you are aware it's a real problem.

My ovulation was 2 weeks late, as was my period.

Report via yellow card

Unaffected by first dose but 6 days late after the second.

@rantymcrantface66

The thing is maybe it's not worrying. If viruses can affect your periods (never happened to me and I've had plenty of viruses of varying severity but I'll accept it can) then a vaccine could well have the same effect. What's worrying is that the people who's job it is to investigate this stuff are essentially trying to gaslight us in to believing it's just a coincidence, that we're looking for the link, that it's all in our heads, despite the fact most women these days use teachers if some sort and know very well the normal patterns for them. They could t be bothered to look in to women's reproductive health before and they can't be bothered now. I'm sure if it was commonly causing erectile dysfunction in men it would be another matter!
But we’d also notice if COVID was messing up our periods and this hasn’t been widely reported. Like you though I assume the researchers never bothered to consider it and now don’t seem to care to follow up :(

Period was on time but I have been started with brown discharge 4 days after it stopping - I’ve also not ovulated.

My clockwork period was 10 days late after my 2nd Pfizer jab. I track my periods using Clue and have done for a few years (it’s been great for me to know what’s going on). It was totally normal when it did arrive though.
