How long were your teens ill with Covid?

Sorry, another question from me!

DD (14) is on day 4 and feeling dreadful. She has nausea which is rotten.

I had Covid last year and didn't turn the corner until day 12 or 13.

Do teens tend to kick it earlier? I really hope so ...

Mine has had it whilst away at University so I only get 1/2 a story, but it seemed to be about 3 or 4 days, though longer to regain her sense of smell.
It was the isolation / lack of exercise / lack of fresh air / lack of being able to "just nip to......" that she found FAR more difficult than the physical symptoms.

Of course, everyone is different and will be affected differently.

DS13 was only mildly ill. Just sore throat, headache and tiredness really. It lasted about a week. DD22 was much more poorly, but again, it only lasted about a week. She has some long covid symptoms though (chest pains and rash).

I hope she feels better soon.

Thank you. It's horrible seeing her so poorly.
