Delta variant - anyone managed to not catch it from someone in their household?

DD (14) has Covid atm, I'm assuming the Delta variant. When I had Covid last year I kept windows open, stayed in my room for 10 days and no one else caught it. But I know this variant is more transmissible.
DH and I are double jabbed but we have another DC. Really hoping we can avoid it by being careful - anyone managed it?!

IHeart I know right.

A colleague did not catch it from her DH. Both were double jabbed.

My DH worked in close quarters with someone 24hrs before they tested positive, both unmasked and he didn't catch it. DH has has one jab and one very mild dose of Covid in November, he couldn't donate plasma as not enough antibodies. Good luck!!

Not me but a close friends ds tested positive and my friend caught it from him ( she's had one jab). Her DH ( who has had both jabs) didn't catch it from them.

We all now have it our household. DS is 18 and not jabbed. Myself and DH both double jabbed. All been poorly. DH more so. Very flu like. Struggling to get out of bed today.

@HelloMissus

My DD managed not to catch it from someone she shared a bed and a water bottle with Shock She’s made of some sort of Teflon Grin
I wonder if she had it first, asymptomatically?

We'll know in a few days DC off school after 2 positive cases.

My ds is currently positive ( assumed delta varient ). No one else showing symptoms at the moment but because he came back form Uni last week and went straight to his room to isolate we did not have any close contact with him before he self isolated so hoping we will be ok. he is using seperate toilet, barely showering and all windows/ patio doors open in house

Ethels I guess that could be it.
DD caught it without symptoms. Passed on to her friend who then got very quick symptoms and tested positive. But when DD tested she’d got rid of it.
