If they delay again I think I may go fucking crazy.

* iced there are many situations where a mask will simply help stop the flow of droplets. On and off... Doesn't harm anyone..
Yeah it does. So much communication is done via facial expressions. "Interacting" with masked faces is grim. But by all means continue to wear one if you prefer.

Bubbles and isolation are not part of the restrictions due to be lifted on July 19th though.
No, but schools will have finished by then and it's on the cards to be scrapped when they return to school in September.

I’m not sure that I fully understand what will actually change come ‘freedom day’.

I won’t be able to go abroad freely still I don’t think. And I will still have to isolate if I come into contact with a confirmed case.

For me, it all still seems a bit shit. But I am in quarantine and slowly losing my mind.

@nordica

How can wearing a mask to the shops and on public transport be traumatising? Or social distancing? (It's not like you can't hug your friends and family now.)

I'm really enjoying social distancing from strangers. Not having some smelly stranger squashed right up against me on the tube actually makes public transport so much more pleasant.

Get a grip - insensitive asshole. If you have school children, you will know that it’s like waiting for the axe to chop down at any moment. Any moment you could get a text saying that your child needs to isolate. Cancel all plans for 10 days- parties, birthdays planned and paid for days out. Gone in one email. Kids have had so much disappointments over the last 18 months. My blood is boiling over what you have written
