Under 40 second jab - how soon is yours booked?

Mine is currently booked for 17 July, but I'm wondering if I can bring it closer. On the NHS site you have to cancel before you can see new slots, so it's a bit of a risk. Has anyone (under 40, no health conditions) had any luck?

@FizzyPink the Waldron centre in SE14, which had a walk-in over the past weekend. It was incredibly quick, well-organised etc. If you’re in Lewisham or nearby worth following Lewisham NHS (I think they’re called) on Twitter for announcements of pop-up sites.

I'm 39 and mine is currently booked for 1 August. I really want to change it to 8 weeks, but there are no appointments available at my vaccination place and no walk-in anywhere near here.

I think I'm going to wait until I'm at 8 weeks and see if my GPs call to offer me a slot. If they don't I'll cancel in the middle of the night and risk it for an earlier slot.

Oh perfect thanks! That’s very local to me

Colleague aged 40, had her second vaccine today, 56 days after the first.

I’ve changed mine today from the end of July to tomorrow.

It does let you see some information about the availability. You could see the date and if am / pm were available, but not specific times. It said to phone up if you needed more info to reschedule.

All our centres were drop ins this weekend in a county wide jab drive, they were only accepting second jabs if the first was on or before 30th June.

I’ve moved mine forwards by 3 weeks recently.

do you mean May @Santastealer, so a 4 week gap?

might try dropping in if that's the case!

Santastealer · 28/06/2021 21:12

Sorry I meant 30th April making an 8 week gap.
