Have you been prescribed a Budesonide inhaler?
I tested positive at New Year and took part in a clinical trial of this drug. The results showed that it significantly reduced the risk of people needing hospital treatment and shortened the duration of symptoms.
You would hope they would now be prescribing it routinely - the trial group was over 50’s with an additional risk factor and all over 65’s. Just wondered if anyone has had it?
The same trial is now starting to study Ivermectin. That’s a good thing - there have been loads of anecdotal reports of its effectiveness and Dr John Campbell is saying a proper randomised control trial is needed. Now there is going to be one.
