WOW tumbleweed. If this was about a member of the public who cant wear a mask we would be on at least page 20 by now.
True
You know, I wonder are the government actually trying to lower compliance? If people start demanding an end to isolations, masks, etc, perhaps that makes it easier to deliver?
I hope this is the case.
I think the timing about Barnard Castle and all that performance was to similar effect too. It was after restrictions began easing and a lot of people were pissed off at the element of "using discretion" when the majority had been rigorously following rules and often other additional layers for good measure (such as exercise time limits, defining local and wiping shopping). It was rather out of date at the point that the news broke.
It doesn't take much to make me angry about it all. I've been simmering and seething at the contradictions and stupidity of many measures for over a year now unless I've been in a numb, depressed state.
Notice how this time last year, media imaging was all carefully staged masks and unrealistic social distancing in classrooms. Now it's looking more natural. Including the hypocrisy of G7 mingling while it's too dangerous for vaccinated parents to be unmasked on a playground
