Am taking Dd1 for pcr test tomorrow and believe it or not this is our first.

It says to take photo id but she doesn't have any. She's 11. What do I need to take?

they have never asked me for it. I used to take a passport, but they only ever want the email so I stopped.

We took my daughter’s passport with us, even though it had expired. She’s 6. When we got to the drive through centre, they said it wasn’t necessary and didn’t even look at it.

Kacha30 · 21/06/2021 19:16

DS 10 has had 3 tests and Dd 6 had her first test today. I've never been asked for id for them them but I did for myself when I had a test. I thought it was only for adults being tested! I don't think you would be turned away for not taking Any so don't worry too much!

Mumto3thatsme · 21/06/2021 19:17

We’ve been today,, no ID required

funtimefrank · 21/06/2021 19:20

When I've taken DD, who's 4, I've taken photo ID for me and it's been asked for/checked. What they've checked it for I don't know, we don't even have the same last name, bit they've checked it!

Persipan · 21/06/2021 19:26

I turned up with my one year old and basically went "funnily enough he doesn't have a driving licence" and it was fine!

feellikeanalien · 21/06/2021 19:27

I took DD (13) today and they didn't even ask for ID.

Minkymandy · 21/06/2021 19:30

When I went last week I took my passport and dds. They only asked to see mine. I've been maybe 6 times now and only been asked for ID twice

Bananarice · 21/06/2021 19:55

We have gone to few tests and nobody has asked us for id. Dc got few colds back in autumn and winter and school was hot on getting dc tested (even if they caught each others cold).
