DH and I were chatting with 18yo DS over dinner about him getting the vaccine. DS said he'd like to know why people's arms are magnetic at the site of vaccine after vaccination, before he has his. Cue DH and I pressing fridge magnets to put arms, and DS seeming surprised when the didn't stick!

He's a bright lad, why on earth he would have thought that was a thing I've no idea, but I think I've heard it all now.

When DP empties his pockets out on the bed and I don't notice, I sometimes wake up with a coin stuck to my arse.

As far as I am aware, my arse isn't magnetic in the slightest.

Seriously, though, if simple principles of creating vacuums with the uneven surface of a coin and the uneven, malleable surface of an arm are beyond people's reasoning, how on earth do they manage to cope with the magic tube that picks up dust and dirt off the floor without touching it? Assume it's transported from the floor to the bag like a grubby Diagon Alley?
