I'm with *@lijkk* Burnt broccoli? Doesn't look burnt, and they're getting meals provided. Sorry, but you know there'll be quarantine restrictions on entering a country, and it looks like they're being catered for. With all the calls of "horrific" and"disgraceful" on here I was expecting slum conditions or something and was a bit scared to click the link lol

Its paying £240 a day and having to wait til past 9 at night for spam, brown brocolli and a jacket potato.

Theres no way what they are paying wouldn't stretch to decent food so someone is profiteering off the back of this.

I’m surprised this thread is so quiet! I can’t believe how shit this is - and completely unjustifiable for the price being paid. Yep, I definitely want to know where the money is going!

I don't do spicy food. I also don't do salad. Looking at that menu, I'd be subsisting on doughnuts.

If anyone still believe this is about health then they need to give their head a wobble.

I cant read the twitter. But there were a couple in the paper and they complained the kids got food poisoning. (Which was later referred to as a sickness bug). And yet the parentsdidnt get it. But also thekids had it at least a day after each other. Having got off a plane where presumably the 2 kids were not in masks and gone through an airport.
Certainly didnt seem kid friendly food.
I think surely the price might be because it could put off other guests- who wants a room next door to A quaranting person.??
Plus possibly issues with laundry and staff more likely to catch it.
And people are choosing to go places im sure you can sign documents etc online (see more point to seeing a dying relative).

Often when the dc get d&v mone of the adults get it.
