How long did it take for you home kit test to come back?

Just that really. Been isolating since Tuesday and fed up! Son isn't even coughing and is happy as Larry now! Test wasn't collected until 5:30 yesterday :(

Well I rang them and they said 5 days before they will chase.....

dh sent one that was picked up at 4, results came through at 8 the next morning.

Mine got posted via priority post box at 5pm and I got the results the following day at 1pm.

That's amazing! I'm very jealous as I haven't heard anything yet 😩😩😩 Fingers crossed tomorrow is the day!

For me, results came the day after posting the test. If the test was collected yesterday, you should hopefully get the result either later tonight or tomorrow. Glad your son is feeling OK now!

Day 3 and still nothing 😡😡😡. Been isolating 4 days now and I'm 100% confident it's not Covid. Feel like I'm a prisoner.

The last one I did took a week, result arrived this morning!!! Utterly ridiculous, I can only assume it got lost. Thankfully I wasn't isolating as it was a request from the Zoe app, but I certainly won't bother with one if I do have symtoms.

I did call 119 after three days and they said it must be lost and they'd advise I do a normal walk in PCR test if I had symtoms. Could you do that and 'free' yourself earlier?

The two home tests I've done before came back the next day.

It was for my son. We went to the test center but he was so traumatised they wouldn't let us continue and I had to do it from home. I honestly will never do this again unless I have a positive lateral flow test. I am so mad at myself for trusting this stupid system!!!!

I posted one Tues this week. Collected about 4. Result came 7am today

I was told to do mine by the Zoe app though so maybe that makes you lower priority

Ordered Weds pm, arrived 10am, posted in priority box 11am Thursday, results the Friday midnight to Saturday 3am.

We still don't have ours and are heading into day 5 isolation now 😢 This is absolutely ridiculous. I am SO annoyed at the process. I know my son doesn't have Covid... we're all just sat at home whilst I'm struggling with 2 children and WFH. How is this life.

Update....
Just rang in day 4, day 5 of isolation and they have lost the test and no result.
I cannot believe what my son went through and all this isolation for literally nothing.
Done a LF on him when he was asleep and he was negative.
I'm furious!!!!

Oh no! Do you just need to finish the 10 days isolation now then? Presumably it's too late to repeat the PCR test?
